Tomorrow a consultant for the Jengalab team will start a mission within the DAS Program in Cote d’Ivoire. The mission will provide technical support for ICT4D activities within IFAD-financed programs.
The DAS Program’s main objectives are to increase access to information and inclusive financial services for smallholder farmers, and increase the use of ICT4D solutions. The DAS Program partners are a consortium including Development Gateway, Jengalab, and TechChange.
The ICT4D expert team will be involved in several activities. In particular the tema will conduct desk research on digital agriculture projects in the country, identify and propose activities specifically focusing on integration of key players in the value chain and related to digitalisation and use of ICT to promote digital finance, tools to support livestock and pastoralists activities, digital marketplace, digital supply chain
management tools, technologies for traceability, and much more.
